Vanilla Almond Milk

RECIPES

Vanilla almond milk is a smooth, dairy-free beverage made from blended almonds and natural vanilla. It has a light nutty flavor with a delicate vanilla aroma, making it a perfect plant-based alternative to regular milk. This simple recipe uses only a few ingredients and can be prepared in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw almonds (soaked overnight)
  • 3 cups filtered water
  • 1 teaspoon Kana Vanilla Vanilla Extract
  • 1–2 tablespoons Kana Vanilla Vanilla Honey (optional)
  • A pinch of salt (optional)
Soaked raw almonds
water
Vanilla Extract
Vanilla Honey
Salt

Instructions

  1. Soak the almonds
Place the raw almonds in a bowl and soak them in water overnight (about 8–12 hours). This helps soften the almonds and improves the texture of the milk.
  2. Rinse the almonds
Drain the soaking water and rinse the almonds with fresh water.
  3. Blend
Add the soaked almonds and 3 cups of filtered water into a blender. Blend for about 1–2 minutes until smooth.
  4. Strain
Pour the mixture through a nut milk bag, cheesecloth, or a fine strainer to separate the almond pulp from the milk.
  5. Add vanilla
Stir in the natural vanilla extract and optional sweetener. Mix well.
  6. Serve or store
Pour the vanilla almond milk into a clean bottle and store it in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days.
